Hello. A friend has purchased JRiver 24 with my advice and duplicate icons appear in the dock each time he starts the app. One of them is from the hidden process "packge installer". I searched in the forum and tried a couple of old solutions that don't work. We have uninstalling the application with App Delete and the same thing is still happening. Is there any way to solve this? Does it happen to everyone with clean installations? Thank you.

Yes, mac OS Mojave. I am going to contact him, although he has told me that several jriver icons are accumulated in the dock. Not only the last application icon open. Thank you.

He doesn't have multiple Media Center versions installed (e.g. Media Center 23 and Media Center 24) right? If so, that *might* cause multiple icons in the dock too.

No. It's the first time he uses JRiver. I installed the app with desktop sharing and he bought it a few days later. We think that maybe it was a JRiver failure when trying to create thumbnails of their music with DRM purchased in iTunes. From the beginning the icons were accumulating in the dock and he was erasing them. Today I'll talk to him and I hope he no longer reproduce the error. He also has a problem that automatic updates do not work. Maybe that's related to the "package installer" icon.
