Best Way to Rip a Mass of CDs ?
« on: May 25, 2003, 01:27:59 pm »

OK I am new at this.  I have 500 CDs that I want to RIP to APE format.  I have MC 9.0.175 set so that the default action is RIP and I have the advanced rip settings to "show the CD submission dialog" if no matches in the CD database are found.

What happens is that when a CD is not found (so far running about 20% of the collection) it just RIPs them with "unknown artist" and names such as Track 1.  No CD submission dialog is presented??

The bad thing is that once MC9 names the files "Unknown" it will *not* rename them to the proper names even when you go back and enter the track info.

Am I missing something?

Thanks....Sammy ?
