Spent hours to try to get this working. I need the WDM-driver to process audio from eg Spotify using the JRiver convolving engine. I`m using Win7, 64 bit SP1. Main board is ASUS P8Z77-M, recently installed, but a few years old. It has a UEFI-BIOS, but I can`t find any option for SECURE BOOT. Tried to put Windows in testmode, to ignore the digitally signing, but the yellow exclamation mark shows up in DEVICE MANAGER regardless of what I try. Extremely annoying!

The WDM-driver worked a while back, but I had a hard-drive crash, and had to install everything from scratch. If this is caused by a Windows update, would it be possible to uninstall the update? I`ll try to use a restore point from a while back. Will also try to flash BIOS to see if the SECURE BOOT option shows up. I installed a user and admin password in the BIOS, and the result is that I can`t enter BIOS SETUP again, grr...

Make sure you're using the latest build (24.0.74) and try running Media Center 24 as an administrator then go to MC's Options > General > Features and check the WDM driver. If it's already checked, uncheck it and wait a few seconds, then recheck it and close Media Center and start it normally (meaning, not as an administrator).

But... I'm not sure how well it'll work with Windows 7. The WDM driver was improved in MC24 for the new Windows 10 signing requirements and it should work with secure boot with Windows 10. Windows 7? It may not work, not sure.

The requirement to disable Secure Boot only ever applied to Windows 10, on Windows 7 it was not needed. Additionally, that requirement has since then been removed, as the driver in MC24 is now fully signed by Microsoft.
One point of note is that we're using a SHA256 certificate which is only supported on Windows 7 if a certain update is installed. I believe it should install by default through Windows Update, but if not, you can get it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=46148

Flashed BIOS, and SECURE BOOT  menu became available! Though, didn`t help, as you said. Tried the security update in your link, but it wouldn`t install. Said it was not applicable for my computer? But then I noticed that Service pack 1 wasn`t installed. Don`t know why Windows Update doesn`t install all available updates more or less at once? Anyway, after service pack 1 was installed I tried the security update in your link again, and it installed successfully, and the yellow exclamation mark is now gone! It seems to work, I can play Spotify, and adjust volume in JRiver. Thanks!
