JRiver Lynx Hilo DAC – Random Pops during FLAC file playback
« on: January 21, 2019, 11:51:10 am »

Hi

I’m experiencing random pops during play back with JRiver 24 and a Lynx Hilo DAC.
•   I have confirmed that the FLAC files are not corrupt.
•   I have tried fiddling with the Lynx Hilo driver’s USB driver Streaming Mode and ASIO Buffer Size with no success.
•   I have tried the WASAPI driver with no success.
•   In the power management settings for USB Root Hub and Generic USB Hub I have turned off the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power (unchecked).
•   I have used other Windows based FLAC players (Foobar2000) and have no issues.

I’m using Win 7 64bit OS with an Intel I7 12 core processor and 32 GB of RAM the FLAC files are on a SSD drive.

Any suggestion as to JRiver parameters that can be set to alleviate this issue?

Chris
