I've wanted that for years
or maybe let users specify both a min&max limit on volume leveling

A recent thing I'd like is "Playback Range" added as a playlist attribute for each song.  Currently if I want a playlist of song excerpts, I have to set that attribute at the file level, which cripples the song for the person wants to play the whole thing.  They might think the track is corrupted and just delete it.
And if that were too much work, I'd be happy if JRiver had a global ignore-playback-range toggle button.
