Good afternoon,
Is there a way to edit library tags while not connected to the drive containing the music files? My music files reside on my NAS and I would like use my laptop to edit my library tags offline. When I get home, I would reconnect to the NAS and the metadata within the files would ideally update. When I brought my machine to work yesterday, MC (properly) searched for the files, and finding none, cleared my library. I have since re-auto-imported them without difficulty.
Any input on which options to select/deselect to enable offline library tag editing, file metadata updating, and preventing MC for looking for/removing library files while offline would be greatly appreciated.
