"Information" popup

Since the last few builds (including MC 25.054), I've noticed a popup box occasionally appearing called "Information" with the message "There is already a task running.  Wait for it to finish before starting another".  There's an "OK" button to close it. 

I can understand why I may have gotten the message, but this popup also appears to cause some interaction that causes JRemote to freeze until "OK" is hit in the "Information" popup on the computer running MC , and I know of no way to do that in JRemote, which is my default way of running and interacting with MC and the computer it runs on.  To be able to again use JRemote and listen to my music, I have to log into the computer running MC to close the popup.  Why can't the information popup in MC close itself when when the "task running" is finished without further user intervention?  Alternatively, is there a way to suppress this popup?

Same problem continues in MC 25.0.59.  Persistent information popup on MC locks up JRemote.  This has become significant for me, because I stream my music to JRemote, and this issue makes it impossible to correct until I log back into to the computer running MC 25 and manually click the "OK" button, a particular irritant when I'm using MC to stream to JRemote away from home.
