MC to Record Now Max

Found out something interesting that I didn't think would work. You can drag & drop any playlist/smartlist from MC into Stomp's RNM. This is groovy because it has no import function. Should work for Nero and ECDC as well.

RNM is wonderful for data CD's. Filename truncation?...forget about it. Using "ISO Level 2 long" will give you filenames up to 212 chars in length! (MC is around 100+). Fully readable in my iRiver 350. The UDF implemetation is stellar, too. Mysteriously though, the disks produced by RNM are more reliably read by the 350 than when MC generates them.***

10-27

***Used MC to burn (Yam F1 ext) a data CD with 97 tracks. My 350 could see about 47 of them. Ma's Sony portable could read all 97. Any disk produced by RNM were fully readable on either portable.

What color disk did you use? Not the red ones I hope.  ;D
