mc2xml.exe

I bought media center 24. But every time a report pops up that asks to donate money.
It is mc2xml.exe that is in the apdata/roaming folder, delete does not help it keeps coming back. How do I get rid of this?

Are you using the Tv features in MC?
Did you go through the Tv Setup process?

mc2xml.exe is used for getting GUIDE INFO for tv channels.

I do not use the TV mode in jriver. I only entered my country and zip code at the institutions.
The pop-up is very annoying and I would like to have it permanently lost.

If you don't use TV, try disabling the feature by going to MC's Options > General > Features and uncheck TV, press OK and restart MC.

Disabling TV feature as suggested should help.  However, somethings do not add up here.  The version of mc2xml.exe used in MC is a properly licensed version and it should never ask for donation.  Something was wrong in your setup.
