Update tags using Media Server?
« on: May 20, 2003, 09:37:49 am »

When I am connected via Media Server, can I update tags on the remote machine, rename files, etc?

I tried it once before, and it didn't seem like it worked properly, so I am checking to see whether it is supposed to work, or is a read-only connection.

Its a read-only connection. No way of writing tags... yet. Theres a hint, though here.

And again I would like to second that request:
I want to be able to maintain my database from a remote pc. That would actually solve my problem with synching two databases on two pcs...
I have my complete mp3 database on living room pc without decent keyboard/mouse access, only remote control. And I would LOVE to to the maintenance (adding mp3s, changing tags, playlists,...) from my "working machine".
