first, thanks for keeping improving and an excellent piece of software...most used in house.

NOW...on updating to MC25 on both pc's in the house, the main server pc is A-OK….actual loading of MC25 on 2nd PC [client] A-OK. BUT the client will not connect to the server . Unusual in that previous versions did automatically, and also MC23 [still there] still connects.

Any help whatsoever would be well appreciated thank you in advance.

I'd check to see that MC25 is in the firewall settings on your server, it sounds like it's not.
In stock windows it's under the firewall control panel -> allow an app through. Especially check to see if public or private checkbox's match your current configuration.
