Media Center 9.0 bugs
« on: May 18, 2003, 03:27:34 pm »

When you right click several mp3's and select "add to playing now" from the dropdown selection box, the newest media center crashes with the error "Media Core has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

After this happened to me, I clicked "To see what data this report contains, click here"

Here is what I got:

Error signature-
AppName: media jukebox.exe  AppVer: 9.0.174.0  ModName: playbackeng.dll  ModVer: 3.0.57.0   Offset: 00076e7e

I then clicked "to view techinical information about the error report, click here"

I'd type that out, but it's way too much :)

Please, please fix this problem soon! I'm having to use a lesser program called Music Match Suckbox until then!

Oh, I also uninstalled it and reinstalled.

I thought that it might have been a conflict in one of the "automatic updates" and...

...I still get the same error :(

I just read something about internet cache causing some people to install a version they didn't intend to.
So I checked my cache and deleted my old installer, and I after I installed it, I seem to not be having that crash anymore.
Good idea!

I think all you need to do is hold CTRL And Click On The Link. Or Just Do It Two Times.

if A Download Take 1 Second And It Normaly Takes 2 Mins Then You Should Know Something Is Wrong.

I have never run into this particular IE bug. What versions does it affect?
