Switch to Playing Now (if has display)

I have this option chosen but playing an avi file no longer goes to playing now window.  This was working in the past.

I have a similar problem since upgrading to 9.0.174. If I play from within MC, it works fine (goes to full screen display), but if I double-click a file from Explorer, then it starts playing without going full screen.

This also happens with mpg files.    This has been mentioned before but nothing has been resolved.  What's up with video fixes?  Lately most all fixes are audio problems and new icons.   Let's fix some video problems guys!  ;D
