Function to count the number of files in a category

Hello, I would like to use a function that counts the number of files within a category, the function should be added as a second line to the category's thumbnail text.
The result should look like on the attached image, where the line "(Number of files)" stands for the information I want to be shown... Does anyone know how to do this?

Resolved: A user has let me know (via PM) how it works -- the field to use is [Track #]... thanks!
