Gracenote error 110/12: user quota exceeded

Dear People,

I'm just bought Media Jukebox, that is said to support CDDB. I can't register to CDDB and receive a message that says.

Please contact Media Jukebox J River support
[Gracenote Error 110/12: User Quota Exceeded]

I've installed build 8.0.392

I've read a lot of messages about this problems, and they state that is a CDDB problem and a lot of inconsistent comments saying to use YADB. I can't find nothing on YADB, so I don't want to build their database filling the titles myself and sending info to them.

As far as I know previous users of Media Jukebox can connect to CDDB (I've seen it) and can register to CDDB (I've seen it too).

So, i need a solution or my money back.

I would like to note some facts:

- Even that only the build number has changed (usually reserved to fix bugs), a new functionality unless has been added (YADB)

- Your people is recommending the use of YADB.

- Your people is saying that probably in the future your product will not support CDDB

- ¿Who is YADB?

Given this facts, ¿what should i think? ¿maybe an interest in YADB?

Pls. Again. Solution or money back.

Thanks.

ementa - we have more than an interest in YADB. We wrote the code. We're not ashamed of it.

The solution is to use YADB. It has quite a few titles already.

Congratulations, you wrote the code...so you decided not to support CDDB...and you say that it doesn't work due to CDDB....not your fault.

So, i wished CDDB support, because It is free, I've helped in someway to fill it, and it worked fine for me. And you sold me a software that 'has cddb' (or didn't you? It's not clear for me who I am talking to).

I don't want to help to build your YADB, because your software is not free, so I don't see why should i help you for free ¿how much are you going to pay me for every song I type?

If I were you, will reconsidere the way you are driving the CDDB/YADB issue. Or will return the money of those whe believed your software supported CDDB.

I don't have the full info why you decided to face this way your YADB development, and your lack of support for CDDB. But is never reasonable to disappoint your customers, nor it is build up 'hard to believe' excuses to explain it. If your have a problem with CDDB, send your complaints to CDDB, not your customers

Sorry, but I think you are in the wrong way.

I don't have the full info why you ...

No, you don't, but if you had searched the archives here, you would have found out. I repeat: YADB is the solution to your problem.
