Using a Phone as a Renderer
« on: April 27, 2019, 12:16:58 pm »

I've been testing playback from an IdPi to my phone (Note 9), using JRiver for Android as the Renderer.  It couldn't get much easier.

1.  Open JRiver for Android so the Renderer is running.
2.  Connect to MC on the IdPi  (http://192.168.1.23:52199 but you need to use your own IP address)
3.  Click on the settings icon and set Playback to Player
4.  Select music and play

The phone could be connected to a receiver, using HDMI, with an MHL adaptor:
