Help me purchase Media Center 9
« on: May 14, 2003, 06:25:57 pm »

I downloaded the trial version of MC9 and found it a great companion to my iPod (CUSTOM SMARTLISTS!)  However, my trial version expired, and I can't seem to find a way to purchase a full version of the program.  When the screen comes up saying that the trial has expired, the UPDATE NOW button does not function.  Since I can't open the program to access the HELP file, how am I supposed to purchase the license?  I have not found a similar problem in this forum, so I must be missing something incredibly obvious here.  Any help?

Thanks JimH.  I had already tried downloading MC90172.  Still got the "trial version expired" message after installing and trying to run.  I have deleted the J River files and downloaded and installed again.  Still get expiration message.  Any other thoughts?

Make sure you have a connection to the internet before trying to purchase.

Thanks John.  Cable modem is always on.  Simply can't access Media Center program because trial period has ended.  Therefore cannot access the HELP file to purchase license.  Great program.  Wish I could buy it.

Any other thoughts on why the program won't let me initiate purchase after 30 day trial expiration?  Do I need to be using IE browser?

The button that leads to purchase is "Upgrade Now".  It should bring you to our web page.

Do you have IE installed?  What version is it?  Does it run?

If you have MC installed, you can go directly to this page (using IE), but make sure you select the correct product to purchase:

Thanks JimH!  That got it.  I just couldn't get to that link for some reason from within the program or on the website.  My money is down and I am iPodding...
