When playing back a playlist or playing now jriver will play a few songs and then stop.

I have 24 installed and just downloaded 25 and it is still doing it. Just got the Marantz 7012. I have a 7008 and it has no trouble. I have tried looking at the 7012 menu and cant seem to see anything wrong.I have to add that I have no trouble when using I tunes so I don't think its the 7012.I hate playback on iTunes. cant seem to find whats wrong in jriver .

Would you turn on logging, start playback and when it fails go to the logging and have it send us the logs please?

I have the log files.After playing around I am at a  total loss,I hooked up the 7012 with a network cable and turned off wireless, no change.It plays fine out of I tunes so its got to be something between j river and the new Marantz that wasn't there with my older 7008.Like I said I had 24 installed and now uninstalled it and downloaded 25 ,still no change.

A few questions:
Do you have another DLNA controller running on your network?
What are the server options you are using for MC's DLNA controller that is associated with that Marantz? We need to know if the MC's converting the "stream".

In case the new Marantz can't do SetNextAVTransportURI properly you MAY have to disable that DLNA controller option in MC for that zone.

I have media sharing on in media player and also in iTunes.The Marantz is using audiophile 24 bit dac for server , also have generic with mp3 high conversion set up.I have disabled setnext  . Most of my music files  are flac, and a few are 320 mp3s.

If your Marantz can handle flac directly I'd suggest changing to "Original Format" for audio.

It seems to be working now. I did a  format on my computer, downloaded mc 25 and now its working, keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.I did not think it was the Marantz its streaming flac  great now.JRiver is a great product and it makes whole house a breeze.I use it for movies and music for all my smart tvs,and for the sound systems in our family room and master bed room.Guess I will upgrade to 25 now cause I not going to upset anything by going back to 24.
