JRiver MC not available on Naim NDX2
« on: June 21, 2019, 11:31:41 am »

Hi everyone,

My father has a Naim NDX2 set up on his network through Wifi, and also has a Win10 computer on the same network through LAN. The computer has the latest version (25) installed.

I have tried configuring DLNA and UPnP on JRiver MC, but I can't get it to show up on the NDX nor the Naim app on his tablet.

Does anyone have this type of setup? What are your configurations?

It really bothers me because he had it working a few months ago and then he updated his NDX, and JRiver MC stopped showing up.

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Try it the other way around.

Set under Options streaming.

Start JRiver and see if the Naim NDX 2 is displayed as a device.
If so, you can stream the music files to the NDX via the jremote app.

At streaming away, nothing would change and the Naim does his job ....

Is only an idea ....

I'm also interested in a Naim NDX 2 - but I'm not sure.

greetings

Search for Whitebear DMR Analyser in the forum, download it and run it on the PC. The NDX should show up. If not it may be a firewall problem.
