Question on Bitstreaming

So I use MC for movies only.  I have a wide verity of movies with different audio tracks.   51. to 7.1 to DTS to DoubyHD to atmos and so on.  Is bitsteaming my best option?  I like the fact that my receiver will adjust for each of the different types of audio, meaning if the movie is in 5.1 it plays it as 5.1 instead of mixing it up to lets say to 7.1 when I don't use Bitstreaming.   Is there any thing wrong with using Bitstreaming?  The sound quality and the surround sound sounds great.
