Simultaneous Encoding of Many Formats
« on: May 13, 2003, 09:04:02 am »

I know Zev was asking about the ability to take an ape or wav and convert to multiple formats simultaneously.

Here's the HA link..

It is called MAR. Meant primarily for EAC and CDeX, may work with MC (using external encoder option). Problem may be MC's tagging after the conversion (vs EAC's use of CL parameters). Will test.

I did find a way to convert to 2 formats at the same time , AFTER  having rip to APE.
The problem is that look like you need a monster computer to do it on around 1000 tracks at once.
I got a tip how to tweak DBpowerAmp SuperPack to get it doing  two projects one after one.
APE to OGG first and to MP3 after.
Ths is what i was looking for.
But ,SURE ,i will give a try to MAR

Thanks for the link.

PS: as far as i understand ,MAR convert to 2 formats one after another as well , but using the EAC process.
Can be really Coooool
