Playlist Sync versus Export/Import

I'm relatively new to MC after having used MediaMonkey for years, so pardon me for all the questions.

I have three copies on MC running at home (you know... just in case. :-) ) and I've been creating playlist on my master copy and all three computers have the exact same folder and file structure. I tried doing the "Library Sync" to sync the playlist, but all that leaves me are blank playlist on the new server. So I went back and did a manual export and a manual import and all is good.

So my question is this... what is Sync doing with the playlist to make it unreadable.
