I have a Media Server (MS) (win10, MC25) with four zones (Notation: Source | Protocol | Output Device):

1. MS | AIR | B&W 804S
2. MS | AIR | Audeze LCD-2
3. MS | DLNA | B&W 804S
4. MS | DLNA | TV (for Images)

The Media Server plays audio directly to my Devialet via AIR or UpnP.

I have also a Video Renderer (VR) in the Living room with two zones:

a. VR | HDMI | B&W 804S
b. VR | HDMI | Audeze LCD-2

In JRemote I have to always change the Source (Media Server, Video Renderer) to play media files  from the source to the desired Output.

Is there a way to avoid the change of the source?

Zoneswitch is not what you are after

Is the video renderer a client of the server? If so then you can use the option to show the client zones in the server and then just connect to the server in jremote
