I assume "CTD" is some abbreviation for a Mac application crash?
Generally speaking, the developers here can't do a lot with a Mac crash report. Instead, they will normally ask for an MC log. Unfortunately, MC logging needs to be turned on, and then the log collected after a crash. It's easy to do though.

Yes, Brian, CTD is crash to desktop. I’ll turn logging on and will file a log next time it happens. Mind you, it’s not a real issue. I just thought it might help the developers to find bugs.
Thanks for clarifying for me.

That was an interesting crash which led to an easy fix.
It was triggered if MC had a corrupt mimetype to try and decipher.

Indeed interesting. I had no clue about the wrong mime type. My music files are originally from several sources collected into iTunes and then into MC. Anyway, I'm glad it could be fixed.
cheers,
Hans
