DLNA Problem
« on: September 03, 2019, 02:28:44 pm »

Trying to get music to stream to my Marantz 7012 or my 7008.  It will play one or 2 songs and stop, you can start it back by playing the next song and the same thing.

I know it is not the Marantz because iTunes Mediamonkey  or Spotify have no trouble playing any thing I throw at them.I love JRiver  I have upgraded for years from M.C. 20 to 25.

I have found a workaround to the problem.I installed Media Monkey and enabled dlna on it and it has the option to use JRiver as a player for M.M.  the server shows up in JRiver so I enabled it and created a library for it and so far it works like a champ.  Problem is that you have to have both programs running to use it this way.

I have tried every setting in both JRiver and my desktop but nothing seems to have much effect.  It does not matter what format the music is in mp3, flac, 16 or 24 bit it does not matter.  No way that all these other programs will push dlna with no problem and JRiver wont.

First, you should make sure you're using the latest build of MC25 as there's been DLNA fixes in the last couple builds. You didn't say what platform you're running MC25 on, but you'll find the latest MC25 build for each OS here...

Try upgrading to .98. I think .95 was one of the builds with the problem.
