timecode not updating in the player's track information

Is it a bug or a feature?
My player doesn't update the current timecode of the playing track. I have to right click on it and close the popup by clicking again. Then I get the current timecode.
Weird.

I think I've experienced what you are describing.  In Standard View, sometimes I will look at the top player display and the track time display will be stuck on one number.  Sometimes when I change tracks it will update once and then get stuck again.

When this happens I always close MC and reopen it . The bug then disappears.  I've only had this happen maybe 10 times in almost 5 years of using MC.
