ATI system lockup
« on: May 06, 2003, 09:50:28 am »

I have just downloaded and started using MC 9 and am having a problem.

I'm running XP w/ SP1 latest windows updates and all that. I have 768MB mem. ATI All-IN-WONDER 128 PRO(pci) w/ latest drivers from ATI.

I'm having a problem w/ the TV Tuner, about 2-5 min after I start the TV Tuner my system freezes, but the TV signal and sound still come thru...I have no mouse or kb control.

If anyone can help me w/ this it would be greatly appreciated.

I do not have an answer for you. It works correctly on my machine (I have the same kind of card which I took out of my XP box only a few days ago). I wonder if anybody else have the same problem.

Did you get that condition just by starting and watching TV? Not time-shifting or recording?

Can you tell us what happens when you try to start time-shifting? Did you select a recording profile?
