It seems that only solution for me is to close MC

There is an option in Tool - Playback Options which is "player"
But the file being played in DLNA device never stop from playing.
Then it has to be killed the DLNA device
Then you can go back from DLNA.

Stop playback before changing the destination. 

Are you playing from MC?  Audio?

My problem is with videos.
It's always tricky to deal with music videos.
Any way MC is an incredible tool.
Music is my main target, I have a growing collection of musical videos, all managed perfectly well with MC 25, fo the time being.

You need to use the stop button (not pause).  It might take some time, depending on the Renderer.

You can also use the "Clear Playing Now" option to clear out your playlist.
