Conflicting information on availability of TV tuners
« on: October 23, 2019, 11:20:08 am »

I installed a trial of Media Center 25 yesterday and have encountered a problem.  When I try to view a television channel, I get a message that there are no tuners available.   But if I go to Television>show status, both of my tuners are listed and both are shown as “idle”

Moreover, I have no problem viewing TV with my paid installation of Media center 22.0.108.  (Of course, only one of the MC programs is loaded at any given time.)

When I installed MC25, I believe it adopted all of my MC22 settings.  I did not deliberate settings for MC25.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Much has changed in TV between MC22 and MC25.

Re-run the TV setup in MC25, including a rescan of channels of course. That should fix the issue.
