Recently ripped CD defaulting in Drives & Devices

I success fully ripped The Ultimate Yma Sumac, and took out the CD. I replaced with another, but the Drives & Devices still showed Yma Sumac. It then ripped the Sumac content (in memory, I guess) to my destination folder. Even though I had a different CD, it doubled up the Sumac tracks in the folder. I restarted my W10 pc. Since then, the Drives and Devices has been occasionally  holding previously ripped CD titles, and I have had to close down JR to shake off the memory, and even that doesn't always work. Any ideas?
