Locking issue and lack of audio.
« on: September 14, 2019, 10:48:42 am »

Locking issue and lack of audio.

Good morning people. I need some help.
I'm using google translator, because my english is terrible.

I use Jriver25 in the living room to watch movies including those generated by my camera, and my files are on the NAS.
I recently updated Win 10, the video card drive and Jriver25.
There is a problem with the lack of sound when connecting HDMI to the receiver.
Often begins to pass the sound and stops. This happens with videos and simple .MP3 music files that are on the NAS.
A message appears at the top of the jriver screen that appears to be “Damping,” but it's too fast and I'm not sure.
I have other movie files connected directly to my JRiver computer on an external hard drive.
High bitrate files crash.
Such a situation did not occur before.
When I play the same video in other programs, the problem does not occur. The sound comes out normal, no locking.

Any tips?

The file crashing problem may be related to antivirus.  It's not likely to be an MC problem.

HDMI can have problems maintaining a connection.  Try a Google search.

Guys, I can't solve this problem.

The first point is that the problem only occurs with JRiver.

On the same computer, it runs perfectly on Kodi and other video programs. Hence why I think the problem is not in the HDMI connection.

- I already disabled the antivirus, without success.

The only solution is to select, in JRiver, the options Audio wall, "Default Audio Device [Direct Sound]" and "Bitstreaming: None".

If you select "WASAPI" or "HDMI", there is no sound.

Any tips?
