Slow reset when playing video by double clic

MC 25 is my default media program on a Win 7 platform. I have been taking some video-based courses. I don’t import them into MC. At the end of the clip it goes to black and it takes an average of 20 seconds to reset so I can play the next clip. Any suggestions?
