Just in case it is of your interest.

A spanish company is launching this product, which I assume is very similar to the american TiVo. They will cover the european market.

There is a current price of ¤ 995 for the equipment (approximate the same in US$) plus a ¤ 15 monthly fee. It seems expensive to me, though I don't know the pricing for TiVo in USA.
