SVCD should be MPEG2... Can you play it in any application on that PC ??

If not I strongly suspect you are lacking a playback codec... Do you have any DVD SW installed ??

You could also try installing the new DiVX codec pack thats been released recently (I had some AVI's that had no vid but sound... They now work with DiVX 5.02 (??)... Search for nimo codec pack 9...

Well , i have to show how good i'am at computer...
My  Power DVD was not  Windows 2000 compatible............

Now, another question:

I downloaded Window Media Player 9 to see if it worked for me..of cause no..
I have no use of it . Can i delete it and go back with the one on the Windows disc- must be 6 ,i think-
Or do i need it to play videos and DVD in MC?

I have to say that the 9player with all the special features if you runXP looks like quite a good player.
But ,as i said, i'am runing 2000
