Playlist changes not saving

When connecting to my home server library from a laptop through an access key and I make changes to a playlist like adding songs they are not saved. Is there a setting to change this so playlist edits are saved?

Turn on Authentication with a Username and Password and "Auto sync with server" in Media Network.

Allow time for a Client (laptop) to sync changes back to the MC Server before you close it. Or manually initiate the sync before closing the MC Client.

  Playing video out to a Sony 65" TV connected via HDMI, playing digital audio out via motherboard sound card, PCIe TV tuner
