Startup on button press
« on: December 29, 2019, 07:44:56 am »

Is it possible to start JRiver manually on button press of my MCE remote instead automatically on Windows' startup?
I would like to open the application on my HTPC right before willing to use it.

Thank you for the help.

You can use a shortcut key to open programs in the taskbar if a program is pinned there.

https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/windows-10-taskbar-keyboard-shortcuts/

I can't test it right now but I think whatever button goes to theater view will also open the program.

Another alternative is to set MC so that it starts the Media Server on Windows startup.
Then when you press the MCE remote button it will show the MC interface.

Is it possible to assign MCE remote control buttons to multi key presses like e.g. ctrl + H within JRiver?
I would like to switch my HDR settings from one to an other in madVR by pressing a specific button on my MCE remote.

Thank you very much for the help in advance.
