That appears to be related to TV tuners.  A recording failed to start, then it would retry and fail again, etc.  Check "TV Logs" in Standard View.

I added two more tuners & the problem seems to have gone away.

Thanks for the info.

TV Tuners can go bad.  Silicondust power supplies have failed, for example.

I had some TV problems recently that were completely solved with a new 4-tuner model from Silicondust.

Hi Jim;

I hear you. I've been using TV tuners on my computer from way back in the late 70's & early 80's (mostly ATI All-IN-Wonder PCIE combo video / TV tuner).

Since then have used various other brands to variable success.

Funny thing is, I had a LOT less problems with the old PCIE cards then today's USB or WiFi / Ethernet cards.

I too have a SiliconDust HD HomeRun Connect Quatro 4-tuner (plus a BUNCH of other brands & models) & it has been a mixed bag for me. Have had various
problems such as...

* It sometimes losses connection & I have to remove & reconnect the power.
* I had another SiliconDust dual tuner; it had a flaky power connector that did not quite fit properly.

Anyway, I now have JR TV working again (except for the 26 of 68 weirdo scan problem) which I know will eventually get resolved.

I REALLY want to use JR TV as my only TV as it has the best features of ANY TV software out there (I've tried almost all of them & none compare).
