Wow, that's your response and what you call support? I've been purchasing your product for over a decade and never needed help before, so it's very sad to see this reply. I'm guessing you're attitude is that "Well, it's not affecting others and we haven't really changed the video playback much if any between MC25 and MC26, so the issue isn't with our product. It's got to be Windows and the usual culprit has been Defender". Am I warm?
Perhaps it's not MC26, but the least you could do is have someone look at the files/info that I provided and suggest something other than what appears to be the catch-all response of blaming Windows Defender. How would you know really if it is or isn't the issue without proper PD? Since you've provided zero help/pointers so far, I took a clue from the Windows info provided and am guessing that it has to do with the OS and something going on with virtual memory. I made some changes to paging a few weeks ago and switched them back to the previous settings. I will watch to see if I resolved it on my own. Hopefully, I have.
In the meantime, besides regurgitating the same old mantra, perhaps you could provide some proof that specifically points to WinDef. For example, what specific folder, file, or extension am I NOT excluding that's causing the crash? Providing something more than "most likely" would constitute real support. It would also go a long way to convincing me to turn off Defender for a time to confirm that it's the issue, then working to narrow it down to exactly when/why/what is causing the crash. As I said, it's never been an issue before, so why now?
