For years I've been a casual user of MC, just upgraded to MC26 and noticed my Recent Albums view got messed up, as it seems to do from time to time.

I've searched the forum today and on other occasions and tried various methods but none seem to be 100% restorative.  Fix Broken Links = OFF did a world of good. The "Date Acquired" recommendation won't work for me. Over the years I've probably spent 10-15 hours trying to make this rock solid, with mixed results.

I purchase and download my music from various sources, or rip from my CDs then manually copy them to my music library tree (root/Album Artist/Album).

Almost all of my home music playback is done via Logitech Media Server with remote control by Orange Squeeze or a Duet remote, and I rarely have issues with their "New Music" views.

My question is thus: How best to emulate the LMS "New Music" functionality with MC26?
