License issues
« on: March 11, 2020, 02:10:49 pm »

No matter what I do, I can't get JRiver to open on my Id NUC Classic. It keeps asking for registration number. Nothing I do seems to work, here's a copy of a screenshot: some of the info there may be useful.

You should have received the license when you purchased.

That's what I thought, but I can't find that email anywhere. I bought it on April 28, 2016. I have all sorts of documents relating to its purchase, but no Registration Code anywhere ...

We can find it for you. Email the serial number found on the bottom of the Id to deanna at jriver.

I have located your license and will send it to you via email, together with an upgrade license, should you wish to upgrade your Id.

Thank you very much for this. New issue now, the license work, inasmuch as I can now get JRiver started, but it doesn't "stick". Restarting JRiver or rebooting the Id requires re-entering the registration code. Using the versionless code does the same although it generates an mjr file, but then I can't seem to find a way to execute it.

Hold the presses. Doing the upgrade fixed everything. It was a bit of a process, I have to say, but everything is indeed working smoothly, and I now have a beautiful butterfly when I boot to a screen! Thanks again!
