dlna renderer disconnects
« on: March 20, 2020, 01:14:31 pm »

I´ve just started using dlna server and renderer (bubbleupnp) just to be able to play MC26 from my PC on my Marshall Acton speaker. I´m new to all this so I might have missed something, hence this input. MC26 looses connection to the dlna server several times a day the only way to make it show up again is to restart the laptop. I´m sure this is not the way it´s supposed to be!? so what could be wrong or most likely what have I missed?

You should be using MC as the DLNA server, not having it connect to some other DLNA server, such as something running on a NAS.

Please clarify your setup.

PS: I have found BubbleUPnP to be extremely robust in establishing and maintaining its connection to a DLNA Server running in MC.
