In regards to .aa file import, do you have RealOne installed?

When uploading files to the iPod, you should not have a problem with tags with ";".  ";" should be replaced with a "?", but the file should not fail. Can you email a file where you are seeing this problem (steve @ jriver.com).

This is the exact text of the track information for some of the mp3 files that gave me the error.  I hope this is what you meant by the file.  Tracks 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18 and 21 appeared in the upload error message with a "?" following the ";".  I tried the upload procedure several times with the same resulting error.  When I edited the track information by deleting both characters from the track title and performed another upload, the error did not reoccur and the tracks transferred to the ipod.  There were 20 tracks I had to edit in this manner to get them transferred.

Can you verify what version of the Portable Drives plugin you have installed (Tools->Plugin Manager->Handheld->Portable Drives)?  You should have v 9.0.14.

I cannot duplicate your problem if I name a track with any of the names that fail for you.

Media Center has misreported the length of very long mp3's. I have had 2 different ones, that for no othe reason i can pin down were labeled as 11:46 in length or something like that when they were both 23. MC continues to play, but you can't seek past 11 minutes or so on it
