Hi all. I'd like to create a smartlist that will respect linked tracks. Here's the smartlist recipe, what I expect to get, and what I'm actually getting.

I want a smartlist of unrated songs in the Style=Progressive Rock. The list should be limit album/artist duplicates to 3 (so it can return, e.g., Your Move/All Good People or Brain Damage/Eclipse).

I've written: [Media Type]=[Audio] [Style]=[Progressive Rock] [Rating]=<1 ~limit=-1,3,[Album] ~limit=-1,3,[Artist]

What I'm getting as a result: A playlist that keeps some linked songs together but not others. Looking at the resulting playlist from the top down, if there are already two songs by the same artist, then MC will not respect a link on the third song by that artist.

See attachments. Two songs (without links) by Australian Pink Floyd Show appear closer to the top of the resulting playlist. By the time we get to Speak to Me, the link to Breathe is ignored.

Is there a way to have MC prioritize linked tracks over other rules & filters?

Right now smartlists don't load linked tracks.  Instead they just match the results of the search.

Maybe this would be a good thing to change?
