For Nila: Thin mini-me skin (from MJ7.0 dayz)
« on: April 03, 2003, 10:06:51 am »

Nila,

Media Jukebox mini-me skin shown here:

Here's my favorite thin mini-me skins for use across the top or bottom of the screen...these are from 2+ years ago.  Just rollup the main window and playlist window and close the eq window...place main and playlist windows edge-to-edge.   ;D

Update:
If MC9 screws up and doesn't restore the mini-me playlist state and position properly...close the playlist window and use the main mini-me window to re-open the playlist window, then rollup the playlist window and re-position...eventually MC9 got it right and remembered the playlist state (rolled up) and position.

WoW!
That looks incredible.
I dont quite follow your instructions to get/do it though.

Is that a mini-me skin? If so which one so I can get it.
That one looks like it gives you FULL control and info while at the same time taking up no screen space.

Perfection reached.

*Drooling uncontrolably*
wwoooowwww.
I have the EQ up too and my god, that has all the features in perfection (no offence to lowerleft & right which are also great).

When I get some spare time (haven't had much in quite a while as I've been working from like 8 till 8) I'll modify the skin so that the buttons are like 1.5 or 2 times as big and then it'll truely be HOT STUFF!! :)

Thanks for that Z & fex :)

Glad you guys like it...but, I didn't design it...JRiver had it done by 'someone' for MJ7 (is a Winamp skin I think) and I always liked them because they were so 'small/thin'.

Nice Mini-Me.

Needs to be about twice as high (with latger icons & text) as it is almost un-readable on my Sony at hi-rez (1024 x 1280).

FYI - I use it at that same resolution (1280x1024) on my 19" Sony and it looks fine (to me...not too small...just right).

You must be using large fonts in Windows Advanced Settings.

I'm using Normal size plus have done a lot of font customizing with the Afvanced Appearence dialog to bring menus & other screen fonts to the size that I want for my 19" Sony.

Either way it would be very nice if we could simply specify font size for the skin.

Nope...normal fonts...guess it's just a 'personal' taste thing.  :)

Need I mention how 100% impossible this is to use with the 1920x1200 resolution I use?   :P

Almost makes me want to drop down to 1024x768...  NOT!
