MC9.0161 Crossfading Video files
« on: April 26, 2003, 03:26:32 pm »

I have just purchased Media Center 9 with the hope of using it for my music video collection.  I have approx 8,000 music video clips in mpg 1 format.  Whilst Media center plays them great, I cannot seem to be able to use the crossfade facility although it works with mp3's.
Up until now I have been using WinAmp2.8 with two instances running with the NiceMC video plugin and an automatic crossfader between the two. Whilst this works great I am trying to avoid having to run two instances of the program and be able to use a single playlist.

I use this basically as a video disco with the video being run full screen on a 2nd monitor and also sent to a video projector.

Any ideas on how to get the crossfading to work?

We might be able to get that to work, but it won't be until after release.  We've stopped making changes now and are just fixing bugs.  Please bring it up again in a couple of weeks.

Thanks JimH for your reply. Will definitely check back on this .

Have only had MC for a day  but am very impressed with the capabilities that i've found so far.
