volume levelling changes dsp setting
« on: April 18, 2020, 07:46:46 am »

Hi Guys and Girls

I was wondering if someone could explain something to me - i'm using the latest build of MC26

i'm going from my PC to a outboard AUDIO LAB M-DAC via USB then pushed into a stereo amplifier. i have an old MP3 library plus all my FLAC music around the 69k track mark (1.3TB) i have slowly analysed all my tracks and i want to apply volume levelling. however once i do this the 16/44Hz Tracks change to 24/44Hz under the DSP output tab.

Can someone explain why this is happening? and is it diluting the original file ?

any advice would be grateful

many thanks and stay safe x

We always output with the most bits possible.  Don't worry, it's a totally lossless process.
