Author Topic: Playing from context menu (shell integration ON) messes up albums tracks  (Read 305 times)

I see that when I am playing selected album tracks using right click menu (shell integration enable), the tracks sequence is messed up for no good reason. Please see the screenshots in attachments.

And no... - I don't want to import the album before playing it - the entire idea of playing from context menu would lose it's use case.

Thanks

MC did exactly what you told it to do.

You selected all eleven files in the album directory.
You right-clicked on the sixth file, and selected "Play in Media Center".
MC loaded all the selected files into Playing Now starting at the file you right-clicked on, and then continuing from the first file until all were loaded.
MC started playback from the first file in Playing Now.

If you want to select files inside a directory and play from the start, right-click on the first file and select "Play in Media Center".

Or, select the album directory itself, right-click on it and select "Play in Media Center".

Or, select "Media Center > Add to Playing Now" instead of "Play in Media Center" to build a Playlist in Playing Now, or to add to Playing Now once you have started playing something already.
