When I play an album to my DLNA device, the last track repeats, and then the entire album repeats starting from the first track. Playback doesn't stop until I force it. It doesn't matter whether I'm using JRemote2 or MC as the controller.

Also, once during testing when the last track repeated MC reported it was playing track 0 of 3. Usually it correctly reports 3 of 3, even when repeating.

I haven't seen this problem with previous releases.

The renderer doesn't do this with Bubble, and it hasn't done it with previous releases of MC. I often play music quietly beside the bed when others in the house are watching television, and last night was the first time it continued all night.

Well that was interesting.

With Disable SetNext and Ignore Transport Events both checked, playback stopped at the end of the album as expected. However, when hovering over the audio path icon, MC reported that it was not using the JRiver audio engine.

With Disable SetNext checked and Ignore Transport Events unchecked, MC reported the audio path (no changes being made), and playback stopped at the end of the album as expected.

With Disable SetNext unchecked and Ignore Transport Events checked, MC reported that it was not using the JRiver audio engine, but playback continued after the last track and did not stop.

Your Media Renderer Analyser reports that SetNextAVTransportURI is supported. I do listen to music that requires gapless playback, so I don't want to disable this just because the recent version of JRiver's Media Center is not working as expected.

Looking at the results from the tests suggested by AndrewFG, it appears that the problem may be related to the recent change that allows MC to report the audio path for DLNA playback.

I may have misunderstood your reply, but if I did understand correctly then with ”Disable SetNext unchecked and Ignore Transport Events checked”, you do indeed get the behaviour that you want. Or??

No, only when Disable SetNext is checked does playback stop at the end of the album. But your tool shows that the renderer supports SetNext, and previous versions of MC worked correctly with this renderer when Disable SetNext was not checked. And I want gapless playback, which I was getting with previous versions of MC.
