Hi All,

Some help, please:  After  ripping and importing roughly 20 cd's into MC 26, I find that I cannot get two of the imports to show up in the ARTIST listing … BUT they do appear below, in the RECENT ALBUMS category (including their cover art) in the left margin nav.  (All of the other albums I have added recently to the library also show up in the RECENT ALBUMS category.
I have tried importing them from scratch from both my "Y:" drive (which is normal for me) thru the run Auto import now command (which is also what I normally use).

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE TOTHE ABOVE POST..

I am also running a remote ID with MC.  I accessed it thru my android tablet and the "missing artists" albums appear as normal in the RECENT category of Files and play normally when selected.

But still do not appear in the ARTIST listing.

Carefully check the tags for Artist, Album Artist, and Name.

Thanks Jim!

I appears that under TAGS, the ARTIST, ALBUM ARTIST AND the name of the artist in the left nav ARTIST file all need to match.  Only then will the system re-order the name in alpha order.
That's what just worked.

Correct?
