1. Changed: Aggressive Deinterlacing for MPEG-2 streams is no longer activated on 24 fps streams, as those should never be interlaced to begin with.

This is so cool!

Now I get the real dates for individual songs for those "Greatest Hits" albums that I'm tagging without having to do a manual search for each song!

This feature along with "Lookup Lyrics" and the get the album art from the Internet makes it SO EASY to tag new albums!

Yep, you're right, it does show a lowpass filter being enabled when DSD bitstreaming.

How exactly is "Lookup Date From Google" supposed to work? When I use it it seems to do nothing. I don't get any feedback that anything was done. Is there a new library field created?

"Lookup Date from Google" - Adds/Updates the "Date" field/tag for the selected track/tracks if it finds a match for that track on Google.

It should only show the filter being used when DSD is being converted to PCM. When bistreaming DSD no filter is applied.  It looks like this message is appearing in Audio Path whenever a DSD is being played, not just when it is being converted to PCM. 

Looks like a bug.

JRiver regularly stops playing files and displays “Buffering…”.  I looked into Interact and cannot see the word “buffering” posted over the last 10 years.  This is my first post on this forum.  Let me know if I am posting this issue at the wrong place.

It started with MC26.  Not sure which builts, but at least the last three (26.0.73, 69, and at least one before).  It happens every time, usually 20-40 minutes after starting to play (my Win10 microcomputer is on 24/7).  When it stops, I can roam the menu, but when I try to close the application, it hangs.  The only way out is to kill it within Windows Task Manager.  After that, I need to reboot the PC and it all looks normal until it stops playing again later.

I reinstalled MC a few times over the last several weeks.  I am pretty sure Windows has been updated more than once during that period.  I removed the antivirus and went to the Windows antivirus app.  I recently added the main MC folders into the exceptions.  I have been using jriver for almost three years now and I don’t remember experiencing this any time before MC26.

All I do with jriver is play my flac files from a USB drive and send it to my DAC via USB.  Anyone knows how I can fix this problem?  Thanks in advance,

Have you tried playing FLAC files locally or on a different USB drive? It happened to me before and found out I had a bad USB 3.0 cable/enclosure.
